Aller-C is a powerful combination of vitamin C and a proprietary blend of citrus bioflavonoids, quercetin and bromelain designed to offer support for the immune system and seasonal sensitivities. After a recent reformulation, Aller-C is now suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Bioflavonoids, including quercetin, are plant nutrients that can work synergistically with vitamin C to maximise the effect in the body.
Each capsule of Aller-C contains 450mg of vitamin C. Vitamin C is essential for the normal functioning of the immune system, and it protects against oxidative stress caused by free radicals. It importantly recycles vitamin E. Vitamin C also contributes towards the energy production from our body’s metabolism and may reduce tiredness and fatigue.
Aller-C also contains a potent 380mg per capsule of a unique bioflavonoid blend, that contains EMIQ (enzymatically modified isoquercitrin) which is a more bioavailable form of quercetin. Quercetin is a bioflavonoid found in berries, onions and apples. Bromelain is another bioflavonoid only found in pineapple.
Quercetin, bioflavonoids and bromelain have all been studied for their potential to modulate (balance) inflammatory processes within the body. Research has shown that quercetin may positively influence the production and release of histamine, whilst also demonstrating potent free radical quenching activity. Studies also indicate it may potentiate the actions of vitamin C, and may support the strength of capillaries.
Bioflavonoids have been studied for their actions in the body, with particular focus on how they support vitamin C in the maintenance of healthy collagen and cartilage, and for the normal function of the skin, gums and immune system.
Bromelain is a protein digesting enzyme found only in the stems of fresh pineapple. Traditionally, bromelain has been used as a digestive aid, but research continues to highlight the potential benefits in reducing inflammation, and in supporting healthy nasal and respiratory airways. Studies have shown that bromelain may also increase the absorption of quercetin, and both may support the body’s inflammation responses and histamine processes.
Aller-C is best consumed between meals, taken twice a day for basic support. Aller-C may be increased to 2-3 capsules anywhere from 2-4 times a day between meals, when more intensive support is required.

Dosage 2-3 capsules two to four times daily between meals, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
