FAQ

The best vitamins for energy are the B vitamins. Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 and B12 are all absolutely essential for helping to turn the food we eat into energy.

They help to convert the dietary energy from carbohydrates, fats and proteins into ATP (adenosine triphosphate), the form of energy that our bodies can use, in a series of complex reactions.

The B-vitamins are water-soluble, meaning we cannot store them and must consume them each day.

No it is not harmful for your skin if you take vitamin tablets. Vitamin B7 (biotin) is a vitamin necessary for the maintenance of normal skin.

Vitamin tablets may not be required if you eat a healthy, balanced diet incorporating balanced amounts of carbohydrates, fats and protein and consume a wide variety of fruits and vegetables.

Vitamin tablets may be recommended if you struggle to eat a balanced diet, or don't consume particularly foods (for example, iron or vitamin B12 tablets may be required by those consuming a vegetarian or vegan diet).

We would advise that you speak to you a health professional if you would like advice on your vitamin requirements.

All vitamin tablets will have an expiry date on their packaging, please see the label or box for the "best before" date which advises you when the tablets are best consumed by.

After this date it cannot be guaranteed that the vitamin tablets will have the full potency as declared on the product label.
