High Level Support for Pain, Inflammation and Joints
Arthritis is a leading cause of pain and disability worldwide. In the UK alone, more than 10 million people have arthritis, or similar conditions characterised by inflammation in the joints that causes pain, swelling and stiffness. There are different types of arthritis; the most common ones are osteoarthritis (OA)(a degenerative condition initially affecting the smooth cartilage lining of the joint) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA) (an autoimmune disease where the immune system targets joints, often affecting the outer ‘synovium’ covering first).
