All women experience menopause when their ovaries become unable to produce oestrogen and progesterone. The average age for the menopause is 51, but this is lowering and more and more cases of early menopauses are being reporting due to changing lifestyles and diets. It’s estimated that around 70% of women suffer the common symptoms such as hot flushes, heavy and irregular bleeding and night sweats and these can be suffered for several years. But nutritional intervention can strongly affect the menopause and peri-menopausal symptoms, and using the correct protocol in the run up to the menopause, and during the menopause itself can improve and even eliminate these unwanted symptoms . This webinar will explore how to combat common symptoms and oestrogen and bone health concerns which are often associated with the menopause. Sarah discusses the use of phytoestrogens, vitamins A, B and D as well as calcium and antioxidants.
