MegaMag® Kids + Teens

MegaMag® Kids + Teens is our most recent development in our best-selling MegaMag® range of magnesium powders. The first of the range to be targeted specifically at this age group, this product combines key nutrients to support learning, memory and concentration as well as feelings of calm. Many of our product development and nutrition team are parents and are passionate about supporting children of all ages, to not only perform to the best of their academic ability but even more importantly to feel relaxed and enjoy learning at the same time.

We've included magnesium glycinate, to support a healthy nervous system and to aid the ability to reason and think, as well as vitamin B5 which supports normal mental performance.

We’ve also chosen to add an innovative lemon balm extract called Bluenesse® which has been studied for its effects on mental focus, concentration, memory and positive mood.

The product also features a range of B vitamins, which contribute to normal psychological function as well as the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, meaning children and teenagers will have the energy to focus on their studies.

We also know how disruptive it is to be in and out of school due to illness so we've included vitamin C, zinc, vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 to support a healthy immune system, with the added bonus of supporting healthy bones.

Magnesium is responsible for over 300 enzyme reactions in the human body and plays a crucial role in growth, development, and energy production. It also helps with muscle and nerve function, cognitive development, and keeping bones strong, making it an essential nutrient for this phase of life.

As well as tiredness, fatigue, and muscle cramps; other signs that your child may be low in magnesium may include irritable mood, trouble concentrating, or poor sleep. Low magnesium levels have also been linked to feelings of anxiety, with a 2017 study ¹ demonstrating calming effects following an increased intake of magnesium.

Magnesium glycinate has none of the negative digestive issues associated with other magnesium forms found in some supplements, it's gentle on the stomach and the body can quickly absorb it.

Bluenesse® is an innovative extract of lemon balm, which has been traditionally used for years to support feelings of calm and a positive mood. This innovative extract has been demonstrated, in invitro and invivo studies to also support cognitive function, particularly focus, memory and alertness.

This formula contains the active or methylated form of the B vitamins. These forms mean that the body does not have to convert them before they can be used. This has dual benefits of ensuring that not only can these nutrients get to work quicker than other cheaper B vitamin forms found in some supplements, but more of the nutrient can be used by the body.

We also chose to use the active forms as for some people their body cannot perform the conversion due to their genetics, meaning they would not be able to gain the full health benefits of these vital vitamins

MegaMag® Kids + Teens is a delicious natural orange flavour, sweetened with just a tiny bit of stevia, that tastes great mixed straight into water, or if your child pefers you can mix it into another drink of choice such as juice or cordial. It has been tried and tested and given the thumbs up from some of the fussiest kids we know!
