Niacin ( Vitamin B3 )

Niacin (Vitamin B3) is one of the most important compounds for a healthy body. It occurs naturally in numerous foods, particularly meats (tuna, turkey, pork, venison and veal) as well as in smaller amounts in avocado, asparagus, ginger, tarragon, peppers, sunflower seeds, apricots, potato and portabello mushrooms. Niacin is important for the body and has various different functions. It is involved in energy production, fat, cholesterol and carbohydrate metabolism, as well as the manufacture of sex and adrenal hormones.

Because the foods richest in B3 are predominantly meat products, vegetarians and vegans are often concerned about their vitamin B3 intake. Nutri Advanced has a large range of products that contain this essential vitamin, with many of them being specially formulated for vegetarians or vegans.
