Quercetin is a pigment that belongs to a group of plant compounds known as flavonoids, and is the most abundant flavonoid in our diet. Quercetin can be found naturally in fruits such as apples and berries, vegetables including onions and broccoli, and also in green tea and wine.
With antioxidant and healthy inflammation supporting properties, quercetin may provide cellular support from oxidative stress which has been linked to a number of chronic conditions. Quercetin is also thought to play an important role in modulating our immune system.
