Saccharomyces Boulardii
Saccharomyces boulardii is a type of yeast that comes from the skin of lychee and mangosteen fruits, and was discovered by the microbiologist Henri Boulard in the 1920s. Since then, this single yeast strain has been used as a food supplement and it's considered to be a probiotic, a type of beneficial bacteria that helps to support the immune system and digestive health.
