In part 2 of the series nutritional therapist Jane Nodder will focus on how to successfully support and manage clients for Strength Training and Protein Gain.


Jane Nodder

Jane is a nutrition practitioner working at the University of Westminster, London as Course Leader & Senior Clinic Tutor for the MSc Nutritional Therapy. Her practice focuses on nutrition for endurance athletes and approaches to weight management and endocrine modulation.

Jane has trained with the Institute for Functional Medicine and is a certified First Line Therapy practitioner. In 2011, she completed the MSc in Nutritional Medicine at the University of Surrey with distinction. Her research considered dietary practices and nutritional knowledge amongst marathon runners. Jane is currently investigating approaches to managing functional gastrointestinal symptoms in endurance athletes for the award of PhD at the University of Hertfordshire under the supervision of Dr Justin Roberts.

In 2010, Jane received the CAM Award for Individual Excellence in Nutritional Knowledge, and in 2011 the Yakult prize for Outstanding Student of the Year at the University of Surrey. Jane is a Director of BANT Council.
